Setting up a Website, Choosing a Template:
- First We login. Either go to http://Members.Electrical-Contractor.net
and enter your info,
or go to your site (ours is: http://contractor.electrical-contractor.net
) and click where it says
'My Member Area' on the Banner and enter your password.

- OK, we're in our Member Area. We can
set up an Email account by clicking on the 'Activate my Email' link
on the left. We're going to just get started setting up the website.
You'll see options down lower on the page 'Build my site' 'Copy a
Website' and
'Upload a Website'. If you already have a Website or made one using
other software
then choose the appropriate selection. We're going to build one
here.
Click on 'Build my site'
- We have some choices here. We can pick
a ready-made template or Design your own.
You can select one of the ready-made templates and see previews
(click next) If you see something you like you can select it or
click the 'Back' button to pick another. We chose 'Custom' here.
And, on the next page 'Classic Stripes'
- We've got a choice of colors and
previews (or We can go Back)
OK, we pick pale blue and click on that one.
- On this page We can choose what pages
we'd like to have in our template. Don't worry, you can always
delete or add more pages later. We didn't think the Shopping Page
was relevant and figured that there's nothing to put on a 'What's
New Page' at the present time. We can always add that later.
- OK, We've got our Look and are going
to stop here for now. If you'd like to see where we're at you can
see our new Template by clicking the link below.
